Just to clarify what Kell is saying.

Max Armor on a Droid is 20% no matter what level you use. There is a display bug that makes any Droid with Armor look like it has 40%, but it is really only 20%.

This max of 20% can easily be reached with 2 level 4 modules, 1 really good level 5, or a crappy level 6.

Some Droids have 2 armor slots, some 1. SO I use 2 level 4's on the ones with 2 slots, and 1 level 6 on the ones with one slot.

20% is max, 40% is displayed but it's a bug.

I use 2 hlaf-experimented level 3 and usually reach the cap.

Hmm, so if a droid has 2 armor slots, do you have to fill both? Sounds like you would just use 1 level 6 in any droid with 1 or 2 slots and get the max resist.

You are correct. Just use the lvl 6 if you can make them.

I've been reading various post on building droids and seem to see different info on the armor for probots. I just haven't determined which info is referring to the current level of the live servers.

Can any level of armor be used in a probot or is level 4 the max.

What is the resistance% capped at if any?

Thanks in adv.

The max is Level VI (6) Armor Module.

I believe at that level it's 20% resists per module, for a max of 40% on a Two Defensive Module Droid.

L6 Armour is the most one can make. Only need one. Otherwise two L4 Armour plates = L6 Armour plate.

Max resist is 20pct vs all effectiveness.

There is no more 40pct, or Armour Rating (ie, metal robot has Armour of NONE... while some BE flesh-n-blood pets have light!? That's just wrong)
