Disclaimer: This idea might have been mentioned before but I really havent kept up to much with the DE boards since all the fighting over Pub 7 & 8 (more fun to play the game imho) so I am going to post it anyways just incase it hasnt been mentioned!
Problem: One of the biggest complaints of the BLL is that it doesnt do what its name says, it doesnt lift loads.
Problem: One of my biggest problems with the game is having to load my 1000 run of factory crates (usually GP and Electronic Chips) 40 crates of 25 per crate, from one factory to another. My factories are all spread out due to real estate availability.Ususally I need to get an close-to-empty backpack to drag all 40 items into my back pack and get on my bike and transfer all 40 items into another factory. Sure if you put two factories next to each other and run close enough you can just drag all from one into another but this is still annoying and can take/waste alot of my game playing time.
Solution: Give the BLL a specific bundler module that allows the BLL to bundleidentical factorycratesinto one crate that appears in the BLL's arms. This bundle wouldnot be transferable to your inventoryor a vendor and be specifically for transfering large crated loads between factories, whether they be yours or other player's factorieswhose admin permission you have. Allow theoption to appear as a slide rule (slide to add 1-40 crates to the bundle) on the factory and give an option as to which type of crate to pick up. The bundled crateswould then be stored in the droid allowing you to view the amount, serial #,and type contents from the radial dial (probably in the same menu with the item storage, store, and data storage commands). You could then store the BLL and bike or shuttle to your other factory. When you pull out your BLL at the new factory the BLL would still display a crate in its hands until you used the slide rule to empty the amount of required contents into the factory you are in front of.
This type of module I feel would bring much demand to the BLL from all crafting professions and be a great game featrue both in saving time and finally giving our Binary Load Lifter a load to lift!
Any comments, questions, better ideas welcome!

Yeah not a bad idea!
Although it does run into the problem that the devs really dont want us making runs of 1000 items and the fact that we can was an accident.
So they might not want to institute anything that encourages that.
But personally i like the idea.

If the Devs ever take away the ability to make runs of 1000 and drop that back down to 100, that would cream DE's.
That would mean the biggest factory run for an R3 model would be 11. That would suck.
However, back on the origional idea...
I like it.
Maybe make it simpler.
1. Assign Factories to BLL
2. Call BLL
3. Open BLL "crate"
4. Place items from House Factory, or even backpack into BLL "crate" lets say it can hold 50.
5. When you close the "crate," it then asks which assigned factory to deliver them too.
6. Those items then appear in your factory.
To avoid people using these as super storage droids, 5 would be important.
Great care would be needed to ensure this was bug free, like what if your factory was full? The last thing I would want to do is lose 50 crates of stuff.

If i remember correctly when the 1000 bug was on Test Centerand "fixed" to 100 items again, so many crafters revolted that the devs scrapped the idea to go back to 100 and allowed 1000 item runs to stay as a feature. If you notice, you get a message ifyou type like 5000that says you cannot exceed the factory limit so 1000 is the magic number. woot!
