Droid Engineer Archive

First this is a joke, but it would be cool as hell.

Put a "feature" into the game and not make it public.

If somebody took a droid with 10 item storage, they filled that storage up with 10 sets of 100k radioactive power, PE 900+, for 1 million units of power.

Now put a detonation module in that droid.

Now blow it up.

The resulting Nuclear Explosion not only looks cool as hell, but it kills everything on the planet (no decay of course.)

Of course once it worked, it would never work again on that Server.

That would be cool as hell.

Sorta reminds me of a looong time ago whenI managed to leave a cigarette scorch on an Ultima map for the ole NES. It was right on an island in the middle of the ocean, which I promptly declared was the test site of a new 'Nuke' spell. Of course, given the results of the test, it was considered far too dangerous to be used again, lest it wipe a city off the map. More powerful than even the dreaded Skull of Moldain!

Now, in case I've strayed too far... a nuclear droid would be pretty wicked! I wonder if we'll be able to initiate a reactor overload when JTL comes out? Wait, this is the DE forum, not the JTL.... back on topic again... yeah, thermo-nuclear droids... I could use one, some imperio village has sprung up by my shop.... then again, I make munitions, amongst other things...I could justpack my factory full of heavy warheads and blow it up, that should take care of that village....

It wouldn't be a nuclear bomb in the sense of Hiroshima. It would be classified a "dirty bomb" since it would only spread radioactive material around the "atmosphere" of the game. There is no weapons grade plutonium, that I've seen, spring up on my server, so this may just pertain to Kettemoor.
