Hello,
Yes all of these answers can be found in the sticky threads above. Most people wont take the time to answer you but as I'm in the mood to spike my post number I will give you brief answers to your questions.
Question:
1) There is alot of heated debate on this topic. Experimentation effects some modules and increases the HAM of the droid overall.
2) Yes
3) Alot of resources. All kinds of common and rares. Read the sticky there is no way around it.
4) Again we have a heavy dependance on MA. You will need schematics for around 5-10 items. You will not be able to drop MA and be able to function easily as a MDE. (My opinion)
5) No. We will be getting higher level combat droids but that date is far far in the future.
I have managed to get through this post without being too sarcastic and not flaming the guy dissing our prof. *Pats self on back*

Hello. I recently returned to swg. Before I left I was looking forward to becoming a DE after the droid invasion occured, now that it has, I am. Before I start grinding it out however, I'd like some answers to a few questions.
Firstly, does droid experimentation still do nothing?
Does the quality of your resources affect the outcome?
What resources are used to make things? I need a list of EVERY resource I will need (except for the resources in the artisan components)
I plan on mastering artisan first and making schematics for the Master Artisan components before goind DE, what will I need schematics for and what would be a sensible amount?
And also, anymore news on the 'droid comander' concept?
Sorry if any of these questions are answered in the FAQ at the top, I don't have time to read it atm.
