Thread: Who makes the cyber arms and legs???
You can also get, poor quality, ones if you die and did not store your clone data. They can only be changed/removed/replaced by NPCs in the major hospitals.
So if you whant some for free just get killed (deathblowen)a few times.

I think it would be really cool if droid engineer could make them, I think it would make alot of profit not only that, that might be the thing to you know, get DE a little more popular. ((not saying it isn't but really there aren't that many DE))
Just a pondering thought, could be something that DE and Doctors work together on to put together for the players.
Really it does make over all sense that droid engineers would beable to put it together, and maybe to get the doctors, to put it on the players, or even come up with some sort of schematic. This would give Doctors and DE some added props. Might even beable to get a BE involved to with it.
Eek but I guess thats for another thread..sorry to get way off topic, the wheels in my head are a spinning..lol

I mean I think that would REALLY make DE more interesting and give the skill class the boost it needs, definately.

With armor a resist borked since the CU, do you think the Devs care about this profession? Taken from someone, me, who has been a DE since July 2003, don't hold your breath.
Thats not true.. they care?
And dady is coming home... he still at the market mom, why would he lie?

Heh that is eaxactly what we have been asking for ever since the game started, we make them and Doctors add them.
Still really not sure why they were given to NPC's.
Probably for the same reason crafters were shut out of ROTW pretty much completely.

*cries on Straker's shoulder*
Almost everything in RotW is a reward, not a craftable. Really sucks for the crafters. You got reward Clone Armor, hoards of reward weapons, reward cyber-parts, reward ships, reward mounts. Hell, I wouldn't be suprised if they had added in a reward battle droid.....
Seems the devs either....
A.) Are trying to make crafting a less integral part of the game, to make up for the fact that crafters aren't happy with the CU and are leaving
B.) Want people to have a limited amount of the stuff you get in Kashyyyk, like weapons. Thought this really doesn't work, there will always be people that will sell the rewards for money, it won't be impossible to get more, just more difficult and less fun
C.) They are trying to exclude the people who didn't buy RotW from getting the new stuff. Although again, people selling the rewards makes it ineffective for the most part, except for the few things like the ships that require you to do the quest if you want to use it
Either way, its destroying the crafters. Why buy a weapon when you can do a quest and get one just as good (unless you compare it to krayt weaponry and such), and unique as well? Why buy your armor (if you wear Battle anyway, even wookiees can wear this stuff) when you can get a free set of it that looks different, and is only slightly worse off than the stuff armorsmiths make? Why buy any ship when the reward ships you get outclass almost any light fighter in the game? Mounts? Not like anyone cares anyway, except in the instanced areas where you can not use a vehicle, only a mount, but you don't need to buy one, get one for free. You don't even need to wait for it to grow, or get a CH to mount it for you.
In my opinion, if you have a crafting profession and you do a quest where you would normally just get the weapon/armor/whatever, you should get a schematic instead. Do the quest for the Kashyyykian Bladestick as a Weaponsmith, and instead of getting the weapon, you get a schematic for it. Same with the Proton Carbine. Same with the Clone Armor. It would still be somewhat rare (almost all of the quests are combat based, if your a pure crafter you'll need help with 'em). People that don't have RotW, and people who just want more of a certain item, are going to get it one way or another, you may as well let the crafters have a part in it.
