On Saturday, May 14th, 2005 at 4:00AM PDT all servers will be taken down for a publish update.
The following changes will be live when the servers return to service:
May 14th, 2005
Version 0.122622
- Changed Poison Spike loot drop to have a range of 5 meters
- Seeker droids will no longer function in Kashyyyk
- Clone trooper armor will again be given out correctly when finishing the quest.
- Jedi can now get replacement Padawan Robes from Force Shrines
Whats the meaning of that? Jedi heaven kashyyyk? Do they not need droids to track them there?
Another time the Value of a DE Item diminished?
That Jedi dont get hunted in Space, ok, they dont have any bonus from beeing jedi there but kash? there they are needed with multiple instances and zones without mounts!

This really doesn't bother me because they can't track into the instances anyway. More than half of Kashyyyk is either 1) Instanced or 2) requires quest based entry. Kashyyyk has already become a "haven" for Jedi if you havn't noticed. This doesn't bother me, but I would think that it would be more of a Bounty Hunter issue that they can't track on Kashyyyk.

It may be a BH issue, but since BHs are about our only consistant customers, well, we should help em out

My question is..why wouldn't a seeker droid work there? its more like pulling hte plug rather then giving a reason "why" they wouldn't function there.
I don't think its going to hurt business, but a reason would be nice to know.
Other then that, I think its just pulling the plug. There is no reason why to my knowledge a seeker droid would not function there.

No, i hadnt noticed that so far and yes it is a BH issue. But a) we are building/selling these things and b) we are propably the ones who get asked why they dont work on kashyyyk.
That kash is instanced & Quested is only aproblem for the Real instanced zones, not for the dead forest, the hunting grounds or the trail.

Go to kashyyk and type in a waypoint thats located in the kkowir forest, then go to there.
You will know why they disabled seeker droids on kashyyk.
It doesn't give the exact location of the person you're trying to locate.
