Thread: Droid Component Art
When the developers get the chance to fix or give us new things to build I hope they revamp the artwork for our items. I find the use of the control unit boxes on all but a few items a bit depressing. Even manipulator arms look like the box when they should look totally different. This request is mostly on a decorative stand point cause I know most of us work with factory crates of components. If i wish to display some of my components to make my shop look like a shop, it would be nice to have different items to display other than the control unit box.
Here is some examples of what i would like to see for our main components:
-
modivator = a small motor of some sort -
sensor = a small sensor dish and/or photoreceptors -
brain = the brain that you can see in a R3 -
manip arm = either a cyber arm or arm from LE -
manip arm package = a cluster of arms like R2
Here is some examples of what the modules could look like.
-
Harvest = the manip arm package with cutting tools rather than claws -
Detonation = something that looks like a explosive and not a data tape
These were all that I could come up with at work. If any body has any sujestions please add them below.

Sorry...it's just my frustration coming out! With it so impossible to find good resources that I can afford (on Bria), that has been aggravating as well. I can't even stockpile resources or components until things get worked out.
I'm debating on respecing myself. Now that I've got JtL (via RotW purchase), I've been messing around with Pilot and shipwright seems kind of cool. Who knows...

I think right now the consensus is we want our droids to FUNCTION first. Looks are great and everything, but the reality is no one really cares so much about what the droid looks like if it doesn't work.
