well... an r2 is an astromech. hehe. But you probly mean so it will work in a ship? well you use droid data storage moduales for that. The level of moduale is the level of astromech the droid will be

Elye save yourself a big headache and drop DE. This profession isn't worth it.

Ren, no offense man, but please don't do that. Yes we as DE's may gripe and complain about the state of things in our profession. Yet we stay with it because we enjoy crafting droids.
We try to maintain a helpful and upbeat board here. Telling all new DE's to jsut drop DE isn't exactly good for the profession.
