Hi Guys,
I'm a re-speced MDE. Don't want to upset anyone here who thinks I should have grinded for it and sorry if I have done. I Used to be Master Tailor / Master ID / Master Merchant and respeced to Master Tailor / Master Droid Engineer / Master Merchant.
I'd just like to askyou all a fewquestions.
What diifferant types of vendors do you all have? At the moment I have a Droid Vendor and a BH vendor. Nothing for sale yet as I'm still making componants and searching for resources.
Is most of your work 'custom Orders' ? Apart from the BH stuff.
What sort of droids should I stock up on for my vendors? I was thinking Harvester Droids, Medical Droids and the JTL stuff.
Any words of advice, apart from 'pick another prof , as this one is broke' ?
Cheers

I have 3 vendors that all get plenty of business.
BH Droid Vendor
- Arakyd Droids
- Seeker Droids
- Bomb Droids (19, 38, and 57 power)
Droid Works Vendor
- Batteries
- Droid Stims
- Droid Compartments
- Entertainer Droids
- Combat Droids
- Storage Droids
JTL Droid Vendor
- Unprogrammed Droid Chips
- Preprogrammed Droid Chips
- Astromech Droids (All levels)
- Flight Computers (All levels)
Right now the BH Droids and Combat Droids ar selling too fast for me to keep ahealthy stock.

Unless you have a friend with Master Artisan who is willing to make scematics of Elec GP and Mem modules, as well as control units, for you, Master Artisan is required for MDE. Too many DE piece-parts require Master artisan components.
As far as what to sell, post CU, I'm selling combat droids and seeker/probes. Detonation droids have come to a stand still due to the blast damage they cause being borked. You may want to put a few harvester and entertainer droids out there for sale, but don't count on them being sold soon - too many people respecing out of the professions that can use those droids.
I do a mix of custom droids versus factory made. Typically, with my high end droids (59-rated detonation, 111 harvesters) I make to order only. Most everything else get run in the factory and put on the vendor in mass. If you plan on sitting in cantinas, starports, etc, to custom make droids for people, have a handful of chassis, parts, and moduleson you to build droids fast.
I have only3 vendors: 1 in my house for storage, 1 for droids, and 1 for droid parts (batteries, customization kits, etc). With the influx of BH and most of my sales being for them, I'm considering creating a BH droid vendor as well.

If you guys want some advice from a BH , put a merchant droid next to the BH terms at kaadra, Naboo. there are two BH terms outside the starport and 2 spynet ops there. might actually help, cause currently there are no merchant spammers there so it wont hurt anything if a DE or two poped in with a droid .......

I run 2 droid locations. Each with 3 vendors. One has normal droids, one has JTL stuff, the last has Bh droids and supplies such as batteries and such.
Welcome to to the club. Nothing wrong with a respec DE, not much difference from grinding it, except yours took fewer mouse clicks.
Right now, there are a lot of DE issues, a lot of stuff is broken. Hopefully they will get fixed soon.

Actually those BH terminals in Kaadara are why my shop is just outside of Kaadara. Only a 700M drive to my front door for BH droids.
