battle droids and such? i mean isnt that what you are supposed to do?

No. Sorry, no battle droids. We can make combat capable Astromech's, Probots, LE Repair Droids and DZ70 Fugitive Tracker's.
As to what we're supposed to do? We provide many more services than just combat pets. We have a droid for practically every profession (ok, politician might not need one 
). Take a look at some of the stickies for more information.

Since most forms of Battle Droids were outlawed by the Empire at the end of the Clone Wars, and that was way before I was making droids, and I'm a law abiding citizen.... no I don't make Battle droids. We are limited to installing basic self defense mechanisms, and low grade chassis armor, but nothing that would stand up in a true combat situation.

I never knew that little bit of starwars history info. Thats a great excuse to give, if your into role playing and such.

If one more person asks if we can make battle droids, I swear, I am going to create an army of probots and have them level the Coronet starport!
And my army will be wiped out in 10 seconds flat.

Can we make battle droids????? (yes i'd love to see that battle, wincing while watching it. The probots might get a couple of em down.....).
I'm not a law abiding citizen now, as i carry several sliced pices of equipment and trounce low level imps every chance i get. So why can't i make a low level battle droid.....................

If you think the combat balance of this game is screwed already, then adding battle droids or droidekascertainly wouldnt help. Remember the scene from Phantom Menace on board the Trade Federation ship...Obi-Wan and Qui-Gonn come against 2 droidekas....Obi-Wan says "they have shields" and Qui-Gonn says "Its a stand-off"
A Master Bounty Hunter with the ability to call out a droideka would dispatch a Jedi fairly easily.Having folkswith the ability to call out a droideka would change the combat balance dramatically. Battle droids would not be much different than Probots, a droid that can shoot back.Creature pets dont have shields......my 2 pennies.
