Ok to keep my life story to a minumum i'll shorthand it, played for the first 3 months, quit with a view to coming back, i'm back, i'm trying DE. I wanted to mix crafting and combat, i've tried combat medic, scouting with TKA and i kind of liked that, I also tried architect and hated it, but that was way back when. So i figured i'd plump for a pistoleer/droid engineer combo with a little healing ability on the side (don't worry i've worked it out, i can do it).
So to my questions, first off how is everyone finding the changes to the DE? i saw that post further down and i have to say i kind of agree with both of your arguements. I look at some of the modules and think what is the point in them? But on the flip side having droids as a valuable henchmen in combat is a good thing.
On that note are probots the only viable droids in combat? i thought you could get droideka blueprints as a rarity and is there any plans to bring in more combat droids?
Next i had heard that you can store more missions in your droid, i am only novice droid with blueprints 1, though i am almost at my next level. So the current datapad module cannot store missions. Is there a datapad module that can store missions and if so, what's the breakdown on that?
Next, i have been using a macro that brings me straight to the window where you put your resources in, i can line 3 of these up and it speeds up the grind process. That being said i have been grinding mouse droids, as they have 15 complexity, but only need some metal and 15 chemical. Is that a good grinding technique or is there another way?
Finally, which droids actually sell? as i have said i am a low level DE at the mo and i need to get the cash flow going. At the moment i'm having to churn out artisan missions to facilitate my DE career, that cannot be right surely?
All in all i have enjoyed the profession thus far, purely from having lots of little doobries to make. I also like the idea of having a couple of probots at my side in combat. I've been away for 7 months and i swore never to return at one point, but so far i have found the vehicles make a difference and my new pc makes the graphics look tonnes better, also basic macros do help without cheating.
any tips are welcome
eh it's hailing outside!!!

I look at some of the modules and think what is the point in them? But on the flip side having droids as a valuable henchmen in combat is a good thing. I think they are fasntastic but as much as I like the barker droid it should be able to /addignore it somehow. The survey droid is a time saver for those that need weird resources.. the scout droid is phenominal.
On that note are probots the only viable droids in combat? i thought you could get droideka blueprints as a rarity and is there any plans to bring in more combat droids? Heck no dude, a LE repair droid can have a 6k ham now, and it KICKS THINGS!! OMG it's s funny!

Is there a datapad module that can store missions and if so, what's the breakdown on that? That was nerfed a long time ago i thought. I think those are useless now. I never get asked for em and i never make em.

People want things that will hold things, then of course the probot. I still love my R2.
