I noticed there was a Hotfix this morning, and I checked the recent update page and it says
nothing about a Structure Maintence Mod. Fix.....havn't been able to test them out yet but
I assume they are still broken....TK any word back from the DEVs yet??? Do they even know
it is a problem?

Yes, they know there is a problem.

No, I've heard nothing specific or definitive on a fix.

Yes, I'm ramping up to go old-school TK on them soon.

I'll buzz TH again and tell him that his 'shields will be going down soon' (sorry...getting amped up for SE).

i have a side question: did they really break this on accident (and if so, why would it take so long to just undo whatever went wrong?) or did they discover a potential exploit in the use of these things and break them intentionally until they plugged up the exploit?
