...to Expert Droid Blueprints!

[What did you think I was gonna say? ]

Unfortunatley for me, no feat of accomplishment comes without it's downside. I'm sitting in the Mos Eisley cantina, grinding away at practiced advanced droid frames to get that last bit of experience I need [I don't normally grind until I'm so close that I don't wanna wait no more], talking to one of the friendly musicians about how disheartening it was to watch about 40k credits worth of resources disappear in a matter of 20 minutes. Well he asks if I can make him a droid, a Power Droid with 10 storage. I tell him when I get my box, I'll be able to make him 8, and he says that's cool. So I finally finish the grind to Expert Droid Blueprints, and I head to the starport to travel to Naboo [I needed to go to my player city to train, and also grab my power core units out of the Naboo bank]. So I get back to Mos Eisley, after crashing to the player select screen everytime I change planets, suffering through the choppiness and freezing of traveling anywhere in the galaxy, and finally making it back to Mos Eisley with the server message saying "The server will be closing down in 15 minutes, please find a safe place to log out". Well, knowing that it will take me 15 minutes just to get from the starport to the cantina, I send him a tell saying that I won't be able to make the droid until tomorrow. But I wanna get to the cantina real quick anyways and pull out a crafting tool and just confirm some of the new things I can make. Well, when I get to the cantina, he's still there, and he asks me how much. I tell him my price for this particular droid is 44k, and he bank tips me 55k, telling me the extra is for traveling to Naboo and back. All's well and good, right? Wrong. I pull out my crafting tool and see that the only difference between the Power Droid and the Power Droid Advanced is an armor module slot. I can only make inventory 3's, and I was relying on a 2nd module slot to get a total of 8 items storage. I've never seen an advanced model droid with just 1 module, so I natually assumed. Well, now the server is down for the night, and I have 55k of someone else's money for a product that I can't make.

Luckily, I am an honest person, soI was sure to write down his name after the server went down, and a reminder note to myself to give the guy back his money and apologize for not being able to make him the droid he requested. But that's a real downer. The worst is that he gave me the money anyways, after I told him I couldn't make it for him. I mean, sure, I guess that's his own bad, but still, I feel bad about taking someone's money, and then logging off [even if it was a forced log out].

Ouch, rough story, another option is available though.

If you know another DE on your server who you are friends with buy an Item Storage module from him. I know it isn't the same as making the whole Droid yuorself, but then you will be able to give the customer what he wanted, actually more then he wanted, if you get a level 6.

10k for the module, will still leave you with 45k profit, paying for your resources.

No you don't get the fun of making the whole Droid, but the customer is happy, and you keep a customer.

You might talk to Micco. He's a good guy and probably would be willing to sell you a Storage 6 module. And, by the way, what's up with you Radiant DE's writing in green?

LOL, I just barely found the text color option, and I love this bright green color (always have).

I could write in yellow if that makes you happy

But yea, I have thought about contacting the Master Droid Engineer I am friends with. He's my supplier of Electronics GP Modules, and Electronics Memory Modules. I'm sure he'd help me out with 1 level 6 storage module.

Anything you need, Marr'Taan. I have a new batch of EMM and EGPMs cooking as we speak. Congratulations on the box!
