Wouldn't it be cool if you could store your lightsaber in your droid, in case of scans, and have a command that would enable the droid to give it to you, (thinking of Luke and R2), if you got into trouble! Maybe the devs can look into this!

Well, its already kinda in there, its not supposed to work like this though. If you have an item in your toolbar then put it in the droid's storage compartment, you can pull it back out with the toolbar key... Use it at your own risk, it may be considered an exploit, I'd say its a bug at the very least.
