Protocol droids have no reason to complain. They should be lucky they even get modules. Go talk to my BLL, with all his required identical parts, and named resources and ask him about modules...

I think you have your ">" going the wrong way here. The BLL holds 0, count em, ZERO modules. At least the gonk droid gets an inherent function, along with one module slot.

It's completely rediculous to have a droid that can do nothing, they should either remove the BLL from the crafting list or give it some module slots.

So, the adv LE droid gets 3 modules, the adv Surgical droid gets 3 modules, and they don't need specific resources. The adv Protocol droid takes ditanium steel, and only gets 2 modules? What's up with that? Closet Threepio haters or something? You'd think if it is harder to make, they'd have more function.

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I just recently picked up droid engineer, so I didn't care.

i'm confused. i'm only a DE 1-1-0-1, so i can't make the BLLs yet, but my roommate has a Binary Load Lifter as his 110 capability Medic Droid that he uses for buffing. or would that be an Advanced BLL?

That would have to be the Adv. BLL. The normal BLL has no module slots, the Adv. BLL can take a cluster (3 modules).

Ah... I should have clarified. I was referring to the advanced models of both droids where the Advanced Power Droid holds 1 module and the Advanced BLL hold a cluster. The Advanced Power Droid gets armor...? To protect it from what?

I think it's safe to say that both of these droids are underequipped. A big reason why you don't see many around.
