My harvester droid was at 75% power. He was at 75% power at the start of the hunt, he was at 75% two hours later and he was at 75%when he ran out of power. It is kinda hard to know when to put in a battery if the power status never reads below 75%.
I think the 4 hour battery thing has screwed up the power remaining display for droids. It certainly doesn't work on my harvester droid anymore. You may want to look into this and add it to your droid issues list.

To be specific, are you talking about the Power Display in the Datapad? or in the Examine window? I was using the Examine window on my effects droid last night and noticed the power level dropping just fine.

Sorry more specfically in the Examine Window and the Datapad. It's only been today. Last night was fine for me also.

I am using the examine window on him when I am out in the field. His power level is back downto 75% again and it's been there for a while too. For whatever reason, the power level displayed for my harvester droid simply does not drop below 75% even when the droids power has reached zero.

I tested this again last night. When I power up my harvestor droid, the power status increases to 100%. The power level thendecreses normally until it reaches 75%. Once it hits 75%, the battery status no longer changes. It will remain at 75% until the droid runs out of power. This is a consistant and reproducable bug for me.

This makes sense from a certain point of view.
Old time = 1 hour
New time = 4 hours
Old time is 1/4 the new time, or 25% of the new time.
While they've made the droids last longer, they apparently have not successfully integrated the new time calculations into the display.
It recognizes that 4 hours is the correct time, but after the initial old time has passed (1 hour or 25%) the status is not capable of updating. This theoretically should be a simple fix.
Theoretically.....
