Thread: Control Units and Adv Motive System bugged?

Just tried making an Advanced Motive System this afternoon, and now my factory crate of control units isn't recognized as a valid ingredient for the Control Unit slot of the schematic. This was working just last night. Anyone else having this problem?

I tried logging off the game and restarting, but no dice. I reported it as a bug, but this is serious. I can't make any droid that requires an advanced motive system now...

Did you try removing one from the crate and try it that way?

No, because I've never had to before, didn't have to last night when I made two of the items in question.

If they've changed that, then they've just driven me away from the crafting professions.

Take the crate out of the input hopper and put it back into the input hopper. I'd bet it would work. Something funky happens with the input hopper at a server reset, where the resources and such in the hopper don't show up as items in your house, I bet this is somehow related.

Ok, here's the scoop. The factory crates aren't recognized as valid ingredients when in the Input Hoper of the crafting station. I KNOW this worked last night, becuase I spent 2 hours moving everything into my large house and dumping all of my factory components and resources into the input hopper so I didn't have to have a constantly full inventory. Now it's not working. I have to put the crate into inventory for it to work. This is nuts. They're just trying to drive people insane.

Thanks for the advice. That DOES make sense as to why it worked one day and not the next. I hadn't been using the input hopper until recently. I'll post here with the results.

Thanks again!!
