Thread: A question from a new master

Well i'm not a master yet but will most certainly be by the end of the day, seeing as I only need 300k more xp.
I was thinking about supplementing my master pistoleer/deserperado with rifles 0040 for the +70 block. I'd rather not go the melee defense stackway but would like my toon to be fairly uber.
I would like to hear everyones opinion on this template?

block only works while holding a rifle...so it wont do you any good...your better off taking some defenses from a melee class if that is what you want...there is a template thread in the useful links section of this board.

Do any of the other ranged professions def mods stack with MP. Such as ranged defense, defense against states, or counterattack?

Hi guys I should got master DE! A prof I have wanted since the day I bought SWG. My question to ya'll is if it's worth it to buy a vette reward for 3 mil to get Tolium gas to make detonation modules.

Here are some numbers to think about.....
1 Deed will give you enough gas to craft 375 modules (30k / 80 per module). It takes 6 modules in an Adv R3, to gain the biggest bang, which leaves you with 62 fully loaded droids. Just to break even on the price of the Deed, you will need to sell each droid for 48k and change. I don't think that the cost of the deed is worth it, but then again I play on TC, most of the time, where the Resource Deeds typically sale for 150k .

On our server, the deeds sell for far more then you could get sellnig Det droids.

i was thinking of using my resource deed for the same thing. but then i went to the bazaar and searched the galaxies vendor locations. found goraths "best ever" in like two pages.
