Thread: Post CU harvester droid crafting

Don't know if I found a glitch or if this is a result of the new crafting algorythm used. Pre-CU, I was able to craft a "best on Bria" 111 rated harvester R3. Post CU, same great resources, I now get a 115 harvester. I haven't noticed a change in detonation modules or combat modules, so I was a little curious. Glitch or new crafting algorythm?

Not a glitch, it is as intended.


The reason is that now, when calculating the value of a resource to fill a particular spot, it looks at the max that resource can be. Harvest modules take Steel, normal Steel has a CND cap of 650, so 640 cnd steel is pretty good. Under the Old system, it would compare that 640 to 1000, under the new system, it compares it to 640 / 650 meaning it looks a lot more uber.


In Det and Combat modules, I bet your using Copper, which has a max CND of 1000, which means that for Copper nothing changed.
