Thank you so much. So I can assume that for a pet class, I want to go with a Bio Engineer then?

Hello. I am a return player from about 1 year ago. I used to have a mid-to-high lv driod engineer and I liked it, but I made the bots for battle purposes and, well, they didn't even fight. Those that did were weak. Has that changed at all by now? Also, I see many DE's with locations in "malls." What are these malls and how do I get to be in one? Please advise. Thank you in advance

There has been some improvements. Probots/DZ70 are still the primary combat droids, with the Astromechs taking up the secondary combat droid roles (no inherited combat facility unless you install a compbat module).
There's a thread somewhere talking about tanking and combat droids... (look up at TK's sticky first)
As for the Malls... Basically, these are houses... Sometimes small, medium or Large... or PA Halls... Where a group of people set up their vendors ...
There are several good things about it: Increases exposure to your vendors and saves overhead cost in terms of paying maintenance for your own buildings.
Bad part: Doesn't guarantee a sale, and a room full of barkers makes it hard to see.

for a pet class you want to go Creature Handler. Bio-engineers can make the pets, but the Creature Handlers are the only ones who can use the high level creature pets.
