Thread: AstroMech Space Droids
I'm still pretty new to Droids so if I am wrong I'm sure someone will correct me but ...
A Lvl 6 data module will make a lvl 6 Astromech (the highest lvl possible) with data capacity of 150.If you add more modules that will increase the amount of storage available for programs in your droid but I don't think that will be of any use. I think 150 will be enough storage for any pilot's programs.
Can anyone correct me?

Yes, though you can stack lower level modules to get a higher level cert.
Eample: Stacking two Level-4 Data Modues = Level-6 Data module.

Just to clear up a few points. Stacking two level 4 data modules does not mean that someone only certed in level 4 astromechs can use it. Only those certed in level 6 astromechs can.
With the addition of the Jedi Starfighter, Imperials or anyonewho has completed the quest and changed factionscan now use astromechs. However, any faction can use a flight computer on a ship that takes one and gain the benefit of using flight programs.
