Thread: WOOT first mass order of droids
Of the three slots you see on the crafting screen, one is for a cluster and the other two are for individual modules. So a max of 5.
I suggest taking a look the current TC focus thread to see how combat and armour modules will be changing next week. The best setup today might not be the best next week.
Just so you know, Probots have inherent combat ability, meaning it doesnt matter how many combat modules you put on the droid, it fights the same without them as with.
Im master DE, and i tried it myself, one Probot with the best combat modules i could make and one without, didnt see any difference in damage done, chance to hit etc, note that when the droid is examined in datapad the droid with the modules SAYS it has better chance to hit, and damage potential etc, but in reality it doesnt.
the combat modules are for the OTHER chassises so that they can fight.
BUT also take into account that they are developing a change where combat modules will affect the combat level of the droids you use them in, along with the armour modules. And i cant seem to find an answer if this will affect the probots inherent combat ability (will it negate it, enhance it etc.). Only time will tell. (considering the track record of the idiots in dev, im not holding my breath on whats going to happen, probably no affect on combat ability if you use the modules but at the same time if i dont use them they will have no combat level, sigh.... my kingdom for someone with intelligence in dev
)
I'm fairly certain that using two level 6 armor modules will provide the same protection as just one level 6.
I think they work the same as (for example) storage modules - one level 6 maxes out the possible storage, putting a 2nd in won't increase the storage capacity.
So, it might save you some crafting time to only put in one level 6 armor module.
