KK since you guys are so great and healpful =) ( you really are...TONS more than any other board =0 /hugs )..and nice about helping the new people =).../ego boast off lol

got my first order for some probot combat droids...he wants the best...

my resource quality is np...i inherited a great stock of diversified stuff from a merchant leaving the game

I'll just make the rundown and make sure i got the process correct to make sure i get the best stuff and make sure they come out correctly and you can tell me if i'm wrong or if there's any major improvments to be had =) thnx in advance...

Probot combat droid ADV

will be 8 total combat units and 1 healing unit in each ( expained to customer they are same slots and told him his options he decided this )

and after explaining armor/defence not affected by how much offence...he decided on each one to have the best available...so i will put 2 lvl 6 armor pieces on each...

all the misc parts n such will be factory runs of course simplify the process ( with adding one to each item for makeing the next schematic with identical stuff as needed )

I hope this pretty much sums up the whole process of what i'll be doing as I understand it now...if not =) let me know =)

There are only 5 slots on an Adv Probot, not 9.
Of the three slots you see on the crafting screen, one is for a cluster and the other two are for individual modules. So a max of 5.

I suggest taking a look the current TC focus thread to see how combat and armour modules will be changing next week. The best setup today might not be the best next week.

Just so you know, Probots have inherent combat ability, meaning it doesnt matter how many combat modules you put on the droid, it fights the same without them as with.

Im master DE, and i tried it myself, one Probot with the best combat modules i could make and one without, didnt see any difference in damage done, chance to hit etc, note that when the droid is examined in datapad the droid with the modules SAYS it has better chance to hit, and damage potential etc, but in reality it doesnt.

the combat modules are for the OTHER chassises so that they can fight.

BUT also take into account that they are developing a change where combat modules will affect the combat level of the droids you use them in, along with the armour modules. And i cant seem to find an answer if this will affect the probots inherent combat ability (will it negate it, enhance it etc.). Only time will tell. (considering the track record of the idiots in dev, im not holding my breath on whats going to happen, probably no affect on combat ability if you use the modules but at the same time if i dont use them they will have no combat level, sigh.... my kingdom for someone with intelligence in dev )

Yberryl that's a known bug. A probot should only be doing one point of damage with no combat modules. From time to time it's stats will shift so that it stats doing a lot more damage, but it is not something that can be relied on.

I'm fairly certain that using two level 6 armor modules will provide the same protection as just one level 6.

I think they work the same as (for example) storage modules - one level 6 maxes out the possible storage, putting a 2nd in won't increase the storage capacity.

So, it might save you some crafting time to only put in one level 6 armor module.

Hmm, actually I just read somewhere that armor modules increase CL of the droid by 5 per module. So maybe 2 level 6 armors will do better than one. I don't have a DE on TC, so I can't check it out.
