Thread: Customer Question About Patch
My question is, seeing how everything is so dependant on CL these days, is that setup still viable after the patch? As DE is one of the few professions Ive not played, Im not entirely sure how this change will pan out for droid owners.
I think honestly nor are we.
TC-Prime has been taken out, so my test char is unavailable atm.
well i just got off test center whith your setup it would me a max level 30 droid.

I don't think so... unless the notes are wrong. The notes say that you get 5CL per module, and it seems that he only has one module.... there's no such thing as a level 6 combat module, as they are experimental, and not based on a level 1-6 system like data, storage, and medical modules.
By the way, what does experimentation do now to combat droids? If it only changes CL, then what's the point? Are they now in the dustbin of grind-quality parts?

That is incorrect Grand. Check out the full report that I made on the thread that Jenden created. Its 5CL per level of the Armor Module, so a Level 6 Armor module will create a CL30 Droid. Combat Modules offer 10CL per module installed.
This first pass, on Test Center, appears to be a flat based CL system. Both Health and Damage are based on the CL and not experimentation. With such a major crafting change, there are bound to be a major number of bugs, especially since its the raw first stage code.
I see, so if things go live as they stand, I would have the best possible combat droid plus the 110 med rating? Nice for me, although I suspect not as fun for you DEs

I missed your report. Well, I'm glad then... we can pack more utility into a combat droid not, then, or an autoheal module. This is good news, but it would've been nice to be able to experiment... and I guess all those 6 combat module droids I made a while back are going into the bargain bin.
