Always felt that a Repair module should have a slot for a Chip, and chips could include droid, vehicle, starship, armor, weapon, clothing, what have you. In the interest of not shafting the people who make the repair kits, the droid would hold and use the expendable (like stimpack or trap droids) the advantage would be to issue a repair command for parts sitting on the floor of a house, or the ability to drag and drop items from inventory. Repair skill would then be at the level of the owner plus a factor for the tool, or if used in conjunction with an enhanced merchant barker module, at the base chance (but usable by anyone who walks up and pays a fee.

Be cool to be able to build resource recyclers into a droid too. hehe *pictures his harvester/combat/recycler droid killing and havesting nuna all on its own and turning the hides into synthesized hide, and leaving it in item storage*

I've said it before and I'll say it again,

We need pit droids. Make them a consumable item like the survey droids.

Just wondering if any of you think that it would be a good idea for repair droids to have the capability to repair "disabled" vehicles. I have an AV-21 that was destroyed by huurtons(Gah!!). Since the Barc and Flash speeder can be repaired...I thought it would be neat for repair droids to be able to repairdisabled vehicles. I think this would be a good source of revenue for DE's as well.

Another thought...Give Master DE's the capability of calling a small team of repair droids that would swarm around thedisabledvehicle(droid pit crew) and repair it to a usable state again.

I'm sure this has already been mentioned many times. I just wonder what your thoughts would be on this.

Thanks
