I bought an R5 last night to use as my astromech on my heavy z-95, he seems to have all the tier one commands when I pull up his programing, I loaded him in to the ship and I can hear him happly beeping away back there... but how do I tell him to use the commands? I have google searched for a guide but all I found was someone complaning about how hard it is, can someone here point me in the direction of a guide?

Thanks a bunch... and keep up the good work Droids and Droid Engineers are one of the biggest parts of immersion in this game.

Play the game or don't it is what it is and will never be what it was for better or worse. I intend to play the game as long as it is fun, that does not make me a fan boy of brown noser. I know the game has it's flaws, but it serves no purpose to dwell in the past.

Open your command browser (the window with combat/social/mood/macro/other tabs)

There should be two tabs that you can only see when in space: Space and Astromech

Drag and drop the commands to the toolbar.

There are / commands for them, but I never found need for them and use the above mothod.

Thanks... thing is the little guy is showing the commands loaded but in space I see no macros... I think he lacks a mem module, but to be honest I have no idea.

Anyway I have posted a request in the Lowca trade forum for what I think I need, please stop by and correct me if I am wrong...

Your R5 only needs a Data Module = to your Droid cerification. You can check the droids cert level by looking at it in your datapad.

Does your ship have a droid interface?

Sometimes if you change your ship configuration, your astro gets locked out. Uninstall, then reinstall your Droid Interface in your ship, then do the same for your Astromech.
