Thread: seems to be working so far...
ok test 2 with pet grouped.
target 1 Evil hermit CL2
evil hermit hits DZ-70 droid now for 51 pts damage.
DZ-70 now hits evil hermit for only 190pts damage.
droid wins.
test target 2 Desert Demon Marksman CL13
Desert demons now hit DZ-70 for 257 pts damage
DZ-70 now only hits Desert Demon marksman for 110 pts damage.
much longer fight. droid gets beat down but wins by about 50 health points.
my conclusion: if i group with my droid i will die, droid will die, everyone will die! Muhahahaha!!!!! if i dont group with my droid, then it kicks butt ( well against the stuff that usually harasses me while surveying. )
My test:
probot (made pre-patch 18). Made with 2 combat modules and one auto-repair module. Now after this patch it shows up as level 1(?). I did not group with it, I sent it out after a maverick gualama (level 12). It lasted exactly 1 hit, then blew to bits.

also on another note, and i will /bug this as well ( for all the good it will do ) the Range Atack toggle command is back on this droid, and when used it does set the thing to range mode ( ie, it shoots a blaster bolt and tries to maintain distance with target, as opposed to rushing in and meleeing with the target) however, after the mob is dead it still forgets any combat command i gave it. resets to melee mode, does not follow me, and does not stay in guard mode.
The Ranged Toggle, when it appeared during Publish 7, was a radial menu option. Since the radial menu option isn't showing up, the Ranged Toggle program command may not actually exisit.
The Toggle is not toggling anything. You can give the command over and over, on all of the combat chassis', and all you will recieve for it is a message stating that the toggle is either on or off, depending on what Chassis type it is. For X Droid, the Toggle will always list as ON. For Z Droid the Toggle will always list as OFF.
If the droid you are using is a Probot, then it might actually be functioning like it is supposed to, which is a rather rare feat. ![]()
