I think not!

In protest i am not going to make a single droid until things are fixed.

If everyone does the same then maybe, just maybe, enough people will realize the damage done and we can get a fix.

Then again some call me a dreamer.

i dont think this would help much. Maybe if we stop making BH droids and pull them off our vendors that would get half the playerbase in a uproar.

Methinks all that would get you is BH Droids being made available from NPCs, as it once was, long,long ago.

DE protests are largely a waste of time, and I do not recommend it.

That said, I am damned if I am going to sell a CL30 combat droid in anything less than an ADV R3 chassis and at a price not dissimilar to pre-pub 18. I will also not be encouraging sales of them at all, with Armour broken as it is.

I really no longer care if I sell any or not.....it really doesn't matter anymore

Jenden..do please mount your finest reinforced footwear, and deposit your boot deep in the hindquarters of whatever Dev was responsible for the disaster of Pub 18

Give as much detail as you can on the same bugs over and over. That is how the Elemental damage was pulled.

I'll be honest, this publish makes me quite mad.

I could live with Jedi hard to skill, I could live with my level 1 artisan get killed in one shot, I could live with lots of things... I could even live with the HAM bug... At least, droids were working somehow.

But just don't touch my beloved droids that badly!!!(this is serious, I love droids to death. lol) This publish is such a nightmare

Somehow, right now, I'm glad I'm moving for a month. I wanted to stock my vendors and did lots of factory runs lately, and this news about my droid wont work makes me sick.

I hope they'll fix this while I'm away *Cries*

I would love to report the bugs but the worst one, imho, could have been intended.

I can live with having to destory all pre-pub deeds and starting over, actually kinda ok with me since it will give me a reason to craft. Since CU most droids just sit on my vendor anyway.

I can live with the second call stats get broked, cause its obviously broken so they will get a fix in sometime.


What kills everything for me is the change in resource requirements, for me thats a gamebreaker. Unless combat droids will now be a one use and need to be replaced often like seekers.

Its not so much the resouces are useless now, cause i still use them in other modules (bomb, harvest) and i could sell them to recoup my investment, its the fact that its a default deal and the current model will encourage all in one droids. In addtion i will no longer be able to seperate myself from other DE on the server no matter how hard i work at it. Guess those interplanetary seeker droids and droid stims will be my claim to fame.

I just dont get what the draw to a crafting ONLY profession will be when you craft the same thing as everyone else.

I really wish that I knew the answer to that one.

I'm hoping that the Health experimenation issue is due to the system not working correctly. When you do a mouse over of the Health bar, the Health listed there will be slightly different from what it is listed as in the datapad. It appears to be a 1 -10 point difference.

This isa similarissue to what was occuring with Pre-Publish 7 Probots. They would list as 820 HAM, but could vary from 819 to 829 HAM. This was due to a cap that was put into place, after the intial release Probots were nerfed, but was never readjusted, like it was supposed to be, until the Droid Invasion. I suspect that this is the case again.

My bet is that the deed crafting system, for all droids, needs to be rewritten, now that an installed module has a direct link to the CL of the droid.

Only time will tell whether or not this is the case.

maybe the respec token is for the de's to go somewhere else.....

/sigh.

Oh believe you me, reporting the AE bug was the first thing I did when I logged in this morn. I also threw it on that thread. They darn well better fix that.

You have to remember . . . as fast as we quit the profession. . . newbies will come into the profession thinking this is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Unfortunately . . . nothing will change.

After ~20 months as a Master DE on Sunrunner, I respeced DE to a combat class.

Seeing what Pub 18 has brought to the DE profession... I am relieved that I didn't go to the trouble of fully stocking my vendors before changing. I am sorry that the DEs currently have to suffer such heartbreaking bugs.

I hope that those of you determined to stick with DE do so, I respect your descions a lot. As I have a feeling my Alt will end up with DE

So In regards to the title....don't waste a respec from DE. Work with it, there might be a fix in a month, and let's face facts DEs are extremely patient people lol
