Thread: Please explain droids to me so I know what to buy
Hello if money was not an object for this (it isnt)
what type of droid do i get.
I want one that I can use for healing myself friends and a pet. t can they fight? heal automatic? store missins? store waypoints?
what do they do
I pvp alot and want one to compliment me.
Thanks -- I jsut dont know what to ask for what type -- they take moduals ight? I also want it to look nice.

the medical droids dont actually heal, they just help doctor/medics heal outside of hospitals and, i think, increase the utility of their stim packs. SO, if you arent a doctor, it wont do you much good. The probots fight, but they only have 810 HAM, 1.5 speed and 40-60 damage. They take armor modules up to medium with 40% resists. So at least they dont die super fast, but they dont kill super fast either. They can only store up to10 items with appropriate module. They can store up to 10 data schematics (the kind used in factory production) with the appropriate module. They used to be able to store missions and waypoints, but that was seen as an exploit since you could take more than 2 at a time and nerfed. The probots used to have 3000 HAM and 500 damage or so, but they were also nerfed. They are not very useful from a combat perspective at this time. I would recommend droids only if you are a bounty hunter and need those specific droids, or you are a crafter and need one with a personal crafting station module installed.
