I noticed that there's formations commands for my Probot. Now, I'm not yet at Novice DE (grinding at it now...about 1/2 way there), but was wondering if you received a bonus for how many droids you could have out like CH's get.

Nope, we're artisans, not a pet class, as much as we should be. The Dev's don't give us any luvvin

not fighting class. won't be fighting class. too many exploits would come out if we could have more than one droid.

any character of any class can have 1 droid out at any time.

When you reach novice DE you can have 1 more than 0 out.

When you reach master DE you can have 1 less than 2 out.

I think they switched DE and CH on calling of "Pets" It would make more sense as many pointed out to only be able to call one creature out and control it, while being able to call out more than 1 droid...

If an overt master CH had 3 faction pets and 3 creature pets and 1 droid out, It might get into formations with them.....but probably needs tested

hehe... using an exploit you could have 100 out ... see the DE notes...

Sure would be nice to be able to pull out my repair droid to repair my other droids at master...

Thanks for the responses. Let me add to your pain. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that Droid Engineers don't get the same respect as the Creature Handlers do, especially since you guys (maybe I won't join your ranks, but I'd still like to:smileymad have the longest grind in the game.

As artisans, we're never gonna have commando-like combat skills, but we can't defend ourselves with our measly 50dam probots? I guarantee you a DE works longer and harder to achieve master than some CH, but any CH could make quick work of us and our little droid.

Devs, if there's a reason for this, could you at least give us an explanation for it so it'll make sense to me?

Maybe we get to have one more droid out when we get our force sensitive slot open...must be how Luke did it.
