Sure a "shooter" droid is fun, but so many things have high energy resists and usually engage with melee anyway...
Why not a BLL that slaps things with its giant lifter-arms? Or kicking / stomping with those huge feet? I don't think it'd be too difficult animate the arms to swipe up, down, cross-ways.. I'm not think'n of TKA styles like the Dark-Troopers are capable of - but implimentation would be much more easily accomplished.. After all, "combat modules" would simply be more powerful servos and actuators (or energy weapons as well for both ranged and melee).

Actualy, I think the repair droid is melee. Unless the TC guys are pulling our leg.

The astromechs have both ranged and melee ability. The LE Repair is apparently only melee. I think the DZ 70 is melee only as well.

The LE is ranged only? It was posted in another thread that it was melee only. If it is ranged, does it carry a gun?

I want the power droid to be melee... just walk over to the monsters and BLAM! Hammer them out of existance with it's stupid flat face.
