Thread: Droid Engineer or Weaponsmith??

Hi, well I have been a nov weaponsmith for a couple weeks now....and only have HALF of ONE box! The grind is just crazy insane slow. So I have been eyeballin Droid engineer. I would like to know from you droid engineers....how do you like it? I realize any elite crafter will have a slow grind to master but it just seems to me WS is just much longer than the others. So i seek your opinions WS or DE?

The answer you will get from most of us is do what you like. It's roughly 330 MSE mouse droids till you get your first box...and even then you're not making much else.

Droid Engineer is a very fast Grind. However, there's not much market for anything we sell. I sell maybe 2 droids a month. ( I don't BH droids, which I hear can sell well if you get some returning customers since they're consumable)
WS has a TON of resouces requirements, although you don't need to make everything, but it's got good sales and has many different products.
Once you buy a droid, you're set for life, I just delete the Probot I've had since first week of game, and it was no different/weaker than a new droid anyway, so people don't need to replace them.

its a long hard grind either way, i just made master DE and i love it, but then i think droids are pretty nifty. You gotta really want to be a ws or de. from what i gather ws need more special resources, but de is quite complicated(why i like it). it has four layers for components in some cases, so a goes in b, b goes in c, c goes d. there are alot more ws but maybe there is a good reason for this. Whatever you choose make sure you have alot of harvesters and money. the stickies on this board are really really good. read through the grind one. whatever u choose have fun.

It had a 85 Med module and 1 level 3 armor. And it has 875 HAM, not much improvement. It was a very early Probot.
And no, I don't feel it necessary to come to either of your insults in either of your posts, whatever's got your angry is your business, how you choose to express it is also yourbusiness.
If someone is thinking DE because it's a possible faster grind, thats their choice, but they should know what they're going into.

Well I appreciate everyones comments and have taken them to heart. Yesterday I picked up DE to try it out.. I figured since I got no where in WS anyways I wouldnt lose anything. Well after doing it for a day I can honestly say that I like DE much more. I personally find the grind a bit easier than WS. Also what I really like is the variety of things I can do as a DE. The only thing I could do in WS was either experiment damage or make some cosmetic changes.
