Thread: MERCHANT BARKING MODULE: A Request for refinement
could you imagine what that would actually be like if you were really there at the starport with all that noise going on. I mean spatial gets busy enough, but realistically it would be like standing in the middle of the NYSE on a bad day.

As much as im starved for new utility. Given the option i would like tolive withoutthe spam module. Unless theres some sort of condition regarding it, id much rather not have anything to do with it for the above mentioned reasons.
But like i said before this aint no democracy.
I think you can count on that.

Umm.. just "how" would I put a barking droid on "ignore"? I mean, I can name my droid the same as your droid or the same as anyone else's droid for that matter. I'm presuming that therewould haveto be a "radial menu control" of some sort, to be used in silencing an offending droid?

Thank you, HandSnake! Being a DE, as well as merchant, I'm fairly accustomed to the continuous yelling that goes on around starports of people advertising this or that, etc. I would absolutely hate it if our player cities and landscapes become poluted with insistant yells and barks 24/7.
REgardless if we can ignore a droid or not, I think these are very valid points and should be considered. Keeping the spacial chat spam-free would be my method of choice here as well.
