First off let me say I'm a MDE, and a NooB all rolled into one.
I'm starting to make some Adv R3's for some doctor friends, and have a few questions
The schmed states it needs (2) combat-capable socket clusters. I know these are optional, but I need to install these in order to accept the 2 lvl 6 med modules. My question is...
1. - are 2 lvl 6's overkill? (tying to make the best buff droid here)
2. - do I add the med modules to the clusters b4 I add them to the droid schmed?
And last, I'm trying to get an idea on what droids go for on the Kett server. The price guide here is good, but I know things are different from server to server. Any help for Kett's MDE's would be great.

Yes more than 1 level 6 med is overkill. 1 L6 mod will yield a rating of 110 which is the max. this means a doc can do stuff at 110% the same effectivness as if he was in a med center. That's why they like them because it gives their buffs a 10% bonus. You need to craft the combat clusters with the modules in them first, then add this assembly to the final droid.
Sorry, can't help you with prices on Kettemoor but It would server you well to take a little trip to some of the DE shops around you and get a feel for how others prive their droids
Good luck and have fun!

Yes 2 level 6 anything is overkill. Level 6 is the cap on all the level stuff. But you can combine 2 level 4 modules to make an equivilent Level 6 module (just takes up more space) or you can Experiment on Level 3 Modules. That is only for the "Level" Modules. Others like the Creature Harvestor, Stim Pack Dispenser, Combat Modules, Auto Heal you need to stack to acheive maxium effeciency.
You will find out about the Cluster Socket, but I will tell you anyways. You will need to put Modulesinto the Combat Cluster first. Do not use a Service Cluster, these do not belong in an R3. Only the Combat Cluster will fit into a Combat Cluser Socket, but you can fit any Module into a Combat Socket.
Shop around for a feeling in prices Naboo has a ton of droid vendors, I recommend looking at Jaq-kuta, Acktar, Ackoo, Choda, Elias, and mine(of course) as we have all been in the Droid bussiness for a while now.
Hope that helps, if you have any other Questions I am head of the DEnet on Kett, fell free to contact me Machine'Zed I hopefully can answer all your other questions. Please note I am writing down your name, to be added to my list of DE's

perfect, thx all.
So how I'm taking it is this way.
I plan on making a factory run of combat socket clusters. I can pull one out at a time, and add the modules I choose.
(Example) Buff droid - 1 lvl 6 med mod, 1 lvl 6 data mod, 1 storage mod.
Then add the cluster into the final droid construction.
Thx 'Zed. You trained me in Master, and I'm glad to be welcomed into the DEnet.
