The problem with B's is thats when you get into the advanced components. You go from A's with a max of 100 heal to B's with a max of 500 I think (I see lots of 400-450's around). Thats an awfully big jump

Why is it limited to just Stim-As? Would be a whole lot more useful if B's, C's and D's were able to be used/loaded.
Otherwise, why have the dispenser?
(had an order for a Stim droid, then they decided to not have one since it is limited to A's)

a couple reasons. First, the droid is in no way meant to replace medics, they're meant to augment medics. Give the droids anything higher than A's and they start replacing people (first rule of droids, a droid may never replace a character). Secondly, they decided to go for speed over quality. In the time it takes a master doctor to heal, this droid will have been able to heal the patient about 10 times (depending on the quality of the modules). Sure your only healing for 100 points a pop, but you can have a near continuous stream of those 100 point heals.

Ahhh, that makes sense...

Since I'm not a Medic, I didn't think along those lines...
I see lots of Stim vendors and such... Thus wondered... (B's would be too much too, eh?)
Thanks... Now that gives me more thoughts...

I like to think of it this way.
Stim droids are only usefull if you don't have novice medic. Otherwise novice medic stim-b's are clearly better. This does not make stim droids useless however.
If you do not have medic, you then either have a choice of heal, or no heal. Small heal as it is, it has virtually no timer in between heals, and can be rather sufficient in most situations where you may need to use him.

Also I would like to add that using the droid does not take from your mind pool which could really be helpful. I wonder if your droid is healling you and you fall icapped, will it still heal you so you can get up?

No, it doesn't (or at least, didn't when I tried it out on TC before the modules went live). The requeststim's go in your combat queue and the healing is really treated as your action, so if you go incapped it stops.

Also don't forget you can put the Stim Request on a macro.
So if I am in a heavy fight, can't keep up my own heals or my mind is low, I start that macro and I start to get free healing.
