Apologies if this topic has alreadybeen disscussed but I'm a Pistoleer/Bounty Hunter and rarely read this forum. What occured tome the other day was that the Protocol clas of droid was pretty much useless right??
Well, here's an idea for a use for them (or any other droid really,,,). In ANH C3P0 was bought so that he could talk to the moisture vapourators and stuff...why not have that a feature of the Protocol Droids now. It would operate as a buff for your Harvester. You deploy your harvester, sasy BER10 and then get your Protocol Droid to talk to it in order to tweak it's efficiency...addint say 1 to the BER for a short time like from an hour to a day depending on how many Comms Modules the Protocol Droid had.
That would be fitting with the StarWars Universe and would give people a reason to build and purchase what has to be the most famous (well joint famous really) class of Droid.

Not bad...Not bad... This could go in our "binding droids to structures" thread. I like this idea for the protocol droid it gives it another function other than translating languages (which it really doesnt do)
The only thingIve sold the protocol droid for is merchant barking.
