Thread: Okay, what's the deal with Droid Armor?

Okay, I don't know who or what is true anymore.
What's up with Droid Armor? Is it there? Has it been removed?
Lots of people are saying that Droid Armor is gone. Which would make sense because no matter what Armor I add to my droids, they never appear in the description.
And up to date, 2 people have come up to me DEMANDING that I add Armor to their droid. I even said I would charge them more and they didn't care, they are convinced that Droid Armor is there, we just don't see it and "apperantly" makes a difference in combat.
Is this true? I've made combat droids without armor and all my customers are satisfied... but if Armor does make a difference, I'm sure they will be even more happy.

Before, it used to be 40pct resist all, with Medium Rating.
Now, all we have at most is None rating with 20pct resist all.
20pct resist all is better than having no armour. Still doesn't make sense to me either...

Cool thanks. I really wish this would of been a sticky or something. Any newb (or newb to the profession such as myself) would of crafted tones of droids with armor. simply because Droid armor is still craftable and you can add the module to any droids.
Why not just remove Droid Armor entirely? It's stupid to keep it in the game.

I'm sure eventually (1-2 years) they will go back and make droid armor less "nerfed". Until then we just have to deal.
By the way my JTL beta signup was buggy and im not happy.

I'm not sure what you mean. droid armor DOES give the droid resistance to damage. not a lot but it does provide resistance. it's not a waste to put armor in droids. I still put armor in all my droids unless they aren't going to be experiencing any combat. why then should they remove it from the game since it actually does do something useful?

yep, any of the droids I sell that has any chance of being in combat gets armor, that includes combat droids, harvest droids, trapping droids, and stim dispensor droids (plus any other random combo someone decides to come up with that may be used in combat situations. 20% is still 20%...

AP 0 and 20% to ALL is still FAR better then any Non-CH Pet a BE can make
