New Armour Functionality
New Styles

More Faction Armour....Snowtrooper, Hoth Padded, Rebel Padded, etc

Modular Armour....can incoporate Looted Components, DE/WS/AS Modules, "Bio-Mechanical" Armour...such as the Republic Modded Armour from KOTOR

Skill Modded Armour...such as the reinforced ST Armour (reinforced chestplates giving melee defenses, layered armour giving ranged defesnes, etc)

Droid Augmented Armour...DE installs droid circuitry in armour as an enhancement that either reduces encumberance or gives special skill mods in accuracy/speed to certain weapons
Misc

Headwear/Eyewear that enhances accuracies (A la KOTOR Verpine Headband...courtesy of Raptor2k1)

Loot Chips that can enhance armourvia sockets...examples such as "droid fluidity in movement" which enhances balanceagainst Dizzy/Stun effects[Defense]...these can also be used in Droids(Courtesy of nbd9k)

Some of these ideas are really cool, and could incoporate cross-profession cooperation between Droid Engineer-Armorsmith and other crafter professions (or even Docs for cybernetics). Also it can involve loot/faction schematics (such as special reinforced armour schematics that are buyable or lootable...similiar to the modded weapon limited schematics) or loot items such as droid chips/modules, more types of attachments and whatnot.

Yes, I will defininitely take up armorsmith if it allows me to build my own power armor!
