Thread: Help needed with Harvester droid

Hi all,
i'm new to this forum, so plz, be patient with me.
How may i or my friend, which is Bio-engineer, harvest DNA with my droid? Is there any option?

DNA sampling is a BE skill.
I don't think you can use an harvest droid for that.
Harvest droid are for scout harvesting skill, and you need novice scout to use it.
Read the read first sticky to have all the info you want on harvest module.
It should answer most of your questions.
If you still have some, just ask them

main advantage is you only need novice scout and not hunting levels, my hunting 1 and a 93 bonus harv droid was getting 1 meat unit more than my mate whose got hunting 4.

Was your friend using a harvest droid? I was out with a Ranger once. I had Hunting IV and a 102 rating droid. He had Novice Ranger and no droid. We were getting the same amount of harvest each time. Once he started using the droid he got WAY more than I did, 20% more of so. It really adds up.
I would not suggest usingonly Novice Scout if you expect to get the most out of your Harvest Droid.
