Has anyone else noticed that the sub-components for the repair kits are more complicated and costly to make than the components of the droids themselves. Is anyone out there actually marketing these things? It seems to me that they are falling in with the pet-stims, which were so costly for BEs to make that they just didn't sell them. The only problem is that pet-stims are interchangeable with med-packs (for healng pets at least). But med-packs wont work on droids, so what to do what to do. My customers and guild matescontinually ask me about them, but all i can reply is that #1 i dont have the resources, and #2 you couldn't afford them anyway.

BTW, this is my new #1 question asked when my MDE title is up over my head:

"Can you throw in some repair kits for free?"

I've been making repair kits since day 2 of this patch. They are pretty easy to make. I'm using materials that are only a bit better than "average" and my B kits have 21 charges with over 1100 power.

Everyone gets a free one when they buy a droid.

Why? Because when I hand one over people say, "what is this?" and I explain it. They go to my vendor and buy a couple more, without hesitation. I sell for 800-1000 Cr each.

After I posted that reply yesterday I logged onto the game to discover that nearly every repair kit I had made was purchased from my vendor. I whipped up a bunch more to replace those sold. By the end of the day almost all of them were gone too. They were selling by the case.

I haven't had quite that many sell, but I'm kind of out of the way, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Can i order a shipment of them from you D? Im not really interested in moving a lot for profit, although if you want to expand your sales ill be happy to help you with marketing and distribution thru my imp/exp company. I would just like to be able to provide my town and guildmates with them. You can just post up your vendor loc, or send me a message in-game.

Is there any way to repair a droid's damage? Like using stimpacks for example? Thanx....

Droid repair kits, they work just like stims.

Can non-DE's (that is, Customers) use customization kits and repair kits?
Which level of repair kits can they use?

Yes (but they won't get as many paint options as an MDE. They get 32, MDEs get 64).

They can use any level Repair kit but cannot use any of the Reconstruction (wound) kits.
