Hey guys... I was just thinking about something I do in game, with regards to harvestors.

Very often I have several harvestors going on several different resources at the same time, and they are all expected to expire on certain dates. So it's a full time job keeping up with these things, as I'm sure many of you can relate to.

So what I had in mind was a new Droid Module that acts as an Alarm.

Basically, it would work similarly to the current In-Game Alarm System... Except it would be more advanced, to allow the following:

It would allow you to set an Alarm for a specific DATE and TIME (RL date/time)

It would give you the option to either DISPLAY ONSCREEN, or EMAIL you the Alarm message on that scheduled date and time

What do you guys think?

Yes, not a bad idea... maybe we could advance on that idea a bit. like still having the alarm system. but also an ability to extract the resource that harvester collected. just somthing i thought of when reading this post

but that is a good idea. i love playing with these chat colors!

There'd be no need. The alarm feature is already in the game.

Now...updating the Barker module to auto-call your Merchant droid at a set waypoint?

The alarm in game doesn't do what I was talking about...

It only lets you put in hours/minutes.

I'm talking about setting a specific DATE and TIME for it. Like, maybe I want to be alerted when 5 days have gone by. So I'd program my droid to remind me, and 5 days later, he sends me an email with a programmed message like "Time to get that harvestor off Dathomir!!"
