Hello,

I am about to train in Doctor and I am looking to buy a droid that will allow me to heal wounds away from a medical center but I have no idea what makes a good Med Droid.

Could someone here please tell me what I should look for?

Thank You for any help

You want a dorid with a +110 rated (level 6) medical module.
That gives you 110% of the function of a med centre.

I find my most popular medical model is an R4 with a food/chem station, MCR 110 and ten item storage. It's cheap to make and affordable for most anyone. They fly off my shelves faster than anything else I make. I'm so disappointed in the surgical droid chassis, being bugged with the storage. But at least the R4 you can rename and it is considerably tougher.

A droid with a 110 medical module as said before.

Better option is a droid with 110 medical, 10 item storage and food crafting station.

Chassis, I would suggest an LE or an R2, or if you have alot of money to waste and want something big a BLL.

I agree with the other guys, a useful medical droid is one with 110 medical, item storage, and the food/chem crafting station. Mine fly off the shelves, no matter what chassis it's in. Decide on whatever chassis you like, as long as it can hold three or more modules. A droid like this (which I call deluxe medical droids) from my shop would cost between 30k-40k, depending on the chassis.

Btw, if you want an even more useful medical droid, have your DE add a data storage module for your schematics.

my hottest seller atm is an Advanced R3 medical droid that has lvl 6 medical, lvl 6 item storage, food/chemical crafting, 3 stimpack dispenser modules and lvl 6 armor. I avertise this as the The Doctor : R3 Field assistand droid. They sell faster than my smaller less equiped droids.

I make R2's with:

110 med rating (2 level 4 medical modules)

Food/Chemical Crafting Station

10 Item Storage (1 level 6 droid item storage module)

110 data storage - GREAT for storing schematics for buffpacks, components, etc. (1 level 4 droid data storage module)

I sell 'em for 50k and they sell very quickly.

Just curious. Someone mentioned the toughness of a certain chassis for a medical droid. Does that really matter for a non-combat model? Is anything going to attack it?

Some doctors use droids on the field to rebuff, heal and so on during battles, so yeah the droid can be hit, especially in PvP battles.

I think that's why my customers like LE.
