I just recently got an order for a MSE droid with a Lvl 6 storage Module and a Repair Module (I Believe it was a Repair Module, it is supposed to heal your droid and other if you ask it to). Im curious to know if resource quality would matter while making this droid. Sorry for the newbie question. There will proably be a lot more of them.

For the MSE itself and the lvl 6 storage Module quality doesn't really matter. But for the AutoRepair Module Quality does have a direct impact on how effective it is.A good result is something like20 or 21 Autorepair Power.

On the droid, quality will affect the HAM.
Very bad resource and fails, you'll get a HAM of 25.
Best resource ever, and best success, I think you an reach 50.
So, don't bother.
On the item storage, if you use a level 6, no need to experiment really.
Now, for the repair part :
If it's a repair module, to heal other droid wounds (black bar), quality doesn't matter.
If it's an auto-repair module, to heal oyurs and other droid white bar, then quality does matter.
