Hi guys!

I'd like to know what's the best Tank Droid that i hunter can have.

I'm looking for one to serve as tank to some high mobs, like GDK and maybe a Krayt.

Against a Krayt?? They won't last long but I guess the one that would last the longest is an LE droidwith 2 autorepair,1 combat and 1 lvl 6 armor module. You will also need to purchase a supply of batteries and droid repair kits as well.

Max HAM on these fellas is 6k but the most I have been able to get out of them is 5970. Make sure auto repair is toggled on before you send them in so theylast a bit longer. If you are doing this in a group, everyone should send one of these fellas in. They automatically heal themselves and each other every 10 seconds.

Well, I suppose you could use a tank, but that's rather dangerous.

A gunship would be better - that way the krayts couldn't do anything. They'd just run around in terror while you keep firing onto them from above.

I've been experimenting a bit with this lately as I level through some BH combat XP. I'm having a much better time using an R3 with 5 Auto Repair modules and 1 Combat module as a tank. The R3's are MUCH faster, have 4500 vs. 6000 HAM but the Auto Repair power is 98 vs. 39 on the LE. I've been using my R3, "Tank" to solo lairs on Dantooine and at the end of the fight he's usually in better condition than I am!

Still ... I probably wouldn't use one on a Krayt Maybe someday when they let us make Droidekas, SBD's or even IG-88's?

An R3 is ususally better against stuff that you don't expect to kill it. The LE is best for stuff (like a Krayt) that you expect to kill it, but just want to slow it down.

Overall, I like the R3.
