Know that we know enough aboutPublish 10 and FS skills, I wonder how the crafting professions will be effected in the next few months.
btw - I'm talking here about crafters that want FS skills to be better crafters in the long run... no one in their right mind would be a crafter in order to become a jedi. - lol
I fear that Crafters - as a category - will not do well in the FS grind. This is because factories are a huge part of their "normal game play"- and factories do not generate crafting xp. Craft xp only comes by hand-crafting, and in"normal games play"that means makingcustom orders or very limited quantities of items (for sale).
We crafters will be forced to either grind useless componets in practive mode (which I don't consider normal game play), or switch to a combat profession (for several monhts) that generates xp for everything that one does in normal gameplay.
I suppose it is possible that if enough crafters want FS skills (like the FS crafting trees), normal crafting will be put aside for a while and who knows what effect this will have on the economy. Certainly, huge quainties of resources will be consummed ingrinds. Andcrafters that switch to combat mode may stop crafting to some extent.
For example, in order for my MDE to get FS crafting master I have to do the equivalent of 20 DE profession grinds - that's a lot of ADFUs. Or, if I go combat mode - I'll have todropsome merchant, artisanor de skills so I canmaster a combat profession - and prolly won't to take the time to craft (even if I had enough skills remaining).
I'll be curious to see the choices crafters make - and how the economy is effected over the next few months...

How glad I am that I didn't drop all my combat skills when I got back into DE...
All my SP's was in combat, now I'm only a master Rifleman... hehe, seems like I made a good choice after all.

Yet you can't convert Combat or rifle xp into Force Crafting xp, you need to do it by crafting.
