Am I missing something here? Why does the DZ70 come up named as a seeker droid when readied for the first time? Is it a seeker droid? Does it have any out of the box functionality besides the ability to do 1 point of damage? This is causing awkward questions from customers.

Thats just the name of the droid... doesn't have any special functionality.

They really need to change that, since it's not mentioned ANYWHERE until the droid is readied.

I was mistaken, what it actually says is "Fugitive Tracker", not Seeker... Still needs to be fixed if it's wrong.

its not wrong in the fact that thats the actual name of the droid, its just slightly misleading in that it doesn't actually track anything.

I get a lot of questions about this too, usually from new bounty hunters. I usually just tell them the DZ70 is not the droid they need, and that they need the Seeker Droid and Arakyd Probe Droids.
I do sell the Adv DZ70s with combat modules at low prices to new players. They sell pretty well on my vendor, and if you drop them on the bazaar they go fast. Good way to make money when you are working your way up the DE tree.

That's why I always name mine 'DZ70 "Fighting Football" Droid'.
Makes it a little clearer and no-one ever assumes BH functionality.

Thats just some weird synchronicity...I just got asked that for the first time on Intrepid 2 days ago, and I have been DE since 2 months after launch....definetly needs a rename, and it would be nice if those droids that have a chassis-granted ability listed them too! Like MSE explosion, DZ70 and probot combat...would make it a little easier!

The model is a fugitive tracker droid... just as the surgical droid is a surgical droid...
It doesn't make much difference.

Hmm, a Fugitive Tracker droid that has no possibility of tracking fugitives. I'll bet the devs spent MONTHS on that one. Ogge, it makes a difference if it's not what it says it is.
Renaming the deed doesn't matter, the default deed name gives no indication of fugitive tracking, it only says such when it's readied. This is simply an error in a character variable that needs to be corrected...

You can't just rename the droid, because in the Star Wars universe that *is* the droids name. The big problem here is that it's been put in as a chassis type with no inherent tracking ability. This is no surprise. As Ogge says, none of the chassis have inherent abilities.. it's something we often complain about
