I havent tried it or anything, but most of the stuff is very slow going for xp Advanced Droid frame units are one of the better ones (400or so per combine with only 150 steel and 75 chem).

Good luck!

There is a faster tailor item I believe (better ratio of resource used to XP gained). Also you think DE is slow, try crafting ABECs at 84xp a pop.

binary load lifters will give i believe, 6k+ exp each. however, they do take factory parts. i did the math, and to do one branch of FS (175k+250k+350k+450k+), one would need roughly 1500 combines. that is not bad at all.

Advance BLL chassis are about 4k xp each, but your looking at 2500 units of named steel and fiberplast, about 250 or so units in the extra parts, some of which require factory runs.

If my math is right that's about 150k of materials to max out your droid crafting xp (still 240k?) I cant predict how fast you will get to 240k, but t would be faster than making advance droid frames.

Your talking a ton of resources inthose parts as well.

At times I think about taking my DE to be my Jedi instead of my Combat guy, then I think again.

Copper: 38,682 232,092

Inert Gas: 7675 46,050

Siliclastic Ore: 2456 14,736

Chemical: 16,271 97,626

Metal: 305,465 1,832,790

Low-Grade Ore: 22104 132,624

Steel: 85,346 512,076

Polymer: 18420 110,520

Fibreplast: 153,500 921,000

Duranium Steel: 76,750460,500

Duralloy Steel: 230,2501,381,500

Well, here's the breakdown for one branch:

76,750 Steel
76,750 Duranium Steel
230,250 Metal
153,500 Fibreplast
230,250 Duralloy Steel
307 Droid Brains
614 Identical Manipulator Arms
1842 Identical Advanced Droid Motive Systems
307 Droid Sensor packages

Multiply that by 6 and you'll see factories shaking all over the place!

That's actually less resources than to master shipwright, of course shipwright didnt take factory runs or named resources to grind.

One other thing, I think there are only 4 branches that you can get by crafting. The other two would require survey/merchant/medical exp.

Correct. Only 4 of the 6 required branches can be aquired through the use of crafting XP.

Using a combination ofMerchant XP and Survey XP can add up to about 2-4k FS XP per day, if you find a nice 90%+ resource that is close to the Village, so that you can exchange the Survery XP as you cap. You may want to finish out most of the other 2 branches first.
