Well I just started droid engineer today and I was wondering what

is the best item/s to craft to get the best balance between xp and

profit any suggestions?

That information is in the FAQ stickied at the top, along with a bunch of other, very useful stuff for a starting DE. It has links to each topic. While you are reading this you are three clicks away from it. You were 2 clicks away from it if you had clicked it rightaway instead of clicking on post new thread. Also, every profession has a faq on how to grind it, a nice leftover from the hologrind.

Now for the best advice: Don't grind it, make droids, play around. I had a pretty tough time figuring DE out from the whole bunch of schematics I got at master. Now, approx 2 months after I got it, I finally start to feel worthy of the title.
