I get a lot of questions in game about droids and a lot of them are repeated here in the forums. People get pissed off at US the DEs because the droids dont do what they think they will.

Thisis a DIRECT result of the developers crappy comments in the patch notes.

"Surgical droids have been fixed and will now heal."

Every non-DE player ( and a few DEs as well)and his dog thinks this means that by buying a surgical droid and having it out, it will heal them. They buy the droid. head out into combat, and then send a storm of messages when they discover that their nice shinny new droid doesnt heal them as advertised! Thepatch note should have read" Surgical Droids have been fixed and will now allow medics to heal outside of medical centers and camps"

Developers<----- you are making YOUR jobs tougher ( I know, they wont see this here, Im copying it to the developement board) and making ME the target of abuse in game!

Take 10 extra seconds and write what is actually going on, and not a 5 word soundbyte. EVERYONE would be happier! And this goes for every profession, not just droid engineers. Take the time to inform us properly about bug fixes and changes. How hard is that?

Or at the very least have a link to a detailed patch note site where more then an abbreviated set of bug/nerf changes can be listed.

Its unfortunate that customer service in this game is so shoddy, that is probably losing more customers then all the bugs/nerfs combined =(

While that is true surgical droids are supposed to VERY slowly be able to heal person like being in a med center and slowly fix wounds , but yet another broken promise.

I see you point, they are pretty vague on patch notes..but it wasnt has bad as you are making it seem it was.

"Fixed a problem that prevented surgical droids from being used to heal wounds"

That was the real patch note, a little better than, "Surgical droids have been fixed and will now heal." But yes, alot of people even DEs thought that meant they would actually heal. They have had several other patch note pretty vague also.

I wasnt trying to invent a quote to suite my needs, just illustrate the problem with a quote most people would recognize ( the medic module patch was by far the most misunderstood patch note so far as I have seen)
