Droid Engineer Archive

First, I agree that the profession needs work, it's a mess (but so is the rest of the game). However, I have to tell you that after seeing posts such as "Yea, I charge 50k for R2s and I can't keep them in stock!!", I can imagine that SOE probably doesn't see very much wrong with our profession! Master Droid Engineers are STILL making a ton of money, even after the probot nerf and there's ALWAYS people wanting to buy droids!

Moreover, getting master droid engineer isn't THAT hard. Even going fairly slowly, I did it in less than two months with half a million credits in the bank. Compared to most games, that's pretty easy...and the grinding isn't bad at all: once you're past advanced blueprints it's a breeze.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say here is that we can't prove that our profession needs attention when so many DEs are rich tycoons. I charge HALF of what most of the price quotes I see in here and I'm still so much richer than most other crafting professions, it's not funny. I'm not flaming anyone either, I'm just pointing out that it APPEARS rather silly to everyone else on the game to see us, in one hand, screaming that our profession is broken beyond imagination, but then on the other hand, raking in 50k+ per day.
