Xahn recently proved that he/she doesnt actually read the posts, just shuts them down. What we need is help for our issues in other forums, as has been suggested a few times in the other ignored professions just to add numbers to our voices.

The real problem is primarily that droid engineers have little or no impact on the game itself. Until the recent Droid vendor removals, our presence in the game was peripheral at best. Everyone needs a gun., Most artisan buy a house for storage and larger harvesters, even armor has a place for the combat classes. But after the probot nerf, there is no system in the game that we affect. There are a few die hard fans that want droids for the "cool" factor, but lets be honest, most of those same die hard fans ARE droid engineers... tailors have the entertainers clamoring for more, sexier clothing. Even chefs have a place for combat buffs ( not always useful, given the general lack of eggs and milk in the game, a primary ingredient of the high end buffs.... imagine a server that never spawned extrusive ore )

Most of the combat classes, while buggy and often broken, at least had a purpose. With the advent of Creature handler pet sales to ALL players ( with higher stats than the ORIGINAL probot I might add) the droid engineer as a useful part of the game died.

While there will be some DEs that claim that the demand for medical droids and crafting droids is high, I say that they are not NECESSARY,and areeasily substituted with something else.

If the only voices crying out in frustration are our own, they will not carry enough weight with management to devote any resources to our cause. We KNOW they dont read this Forum. We KNOW that not a single Developer plays a Droid engineer. We are the only voice speaking for this profession and we are not loud enough to get any attention. The bounty hunters that now must rey on droid engineers for their skill trees are in a bit of a bind. the investigations skill tree they need our droids for is buggy. Their missions barely break even with the 200 seeker 1k probe costs they had on the vendors.The difficultyon these missionsis so high that they cant completethem without a pet/shield of some kind (Organic only now,Probots cant do it anymore)Those that hadnt already mastered BH have moved into the other 3 skill trees and a few CH levels to complete their missions.

We do not currently affect the game, therefore our issues have no priority

I beleave one of the post from Holo or Q (can't find it) said something about the amount of work required to change one type of schematic do to the experiment formulas involved. So they couldn't fix one schematic with out mucking up a bunch of others. So they rather play with the HAM and armour then go into the schematic and correct the issues. If its work just for one schematic imagine what is needed to fix our profession. (darn i wish i saved that post) it was item 2 on there issue list.
